On February 25 of this year, the Uzbek-Japan Innovation Center of Youth at the Tashkent State Technical University named after Islam Karimov organized an introductory event for students of State Specialized General Education School № 178 of the Chilanzar district in Tashkent.

On February 19 of this year, another scientific seminar was organized at the Uzbek-Japan Innovation Center of Youth at the Tashkent State Technical University named after Islam Karimov as part of the international project “SATREPS-H₂Uz”. The seminar was conducted by Professor Keiko Sasaki, a leading specialist from Waseda University, Japan, on the topic “Photocatalysis processes and modern scientific and technological approaches to deep processing of mineral waste”.

On February 16, 2026, a delegation led by the Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation of Bukhara State University visited the Uzbekistan-Japan Innovation Center of Youth (the Center) under Tashkent State Technical University named after Islam Karimov.

On February 12, 2026, representatives of the Executive Office under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the National Academy of Sciences, the Ministry of Science and Education, and several higher education institutions, as well as the JICA Representative Office in Tajikistan, visited the Uzbek-Japan Innovation Center of  Youth (Center) at the Tashkent State Technical University named after Islam Karimov.

On January 29, 2026, a delegation from Shanghai Jiao Tong University of the People's Republic of China visited the Center.

On January 28th of this year, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Japan, Muhsinhoja Abdurahmonov, accompanied by Japanese specialists, paid a diplomatic visit to the Uzbek-Japan Innovation Center of Youth.

On January 9, 2026, the Uzbek-Japan innovation center of youth was visited by a member of the American physical society, Deputy director of the institute of nanotechnology at the University of Texas at Dallas, Texas, USA, Co-head of the “Hybrid nanophotonics and optoelectronics” laboratory at the Russian national research University, Doctor of physical and mathematical sciences Anvar Abdulahadovich Zakhidov, author of practical works in the field of studying the properties and practical applications of nanomaterials and holder of the title “Honored scientist of Uzbekistan”.

On January 8 of this year, Mr. Nisio Masaya, the representative of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in the Republic of Tajikistan, visited the Uzbek-Japan innovation center of youth and provided an overview of the work being carried out by the JICA representative office in the neighboring country.

On January 6-7, 2026, a delegation from the Uzbek-Japan innovation center of youth visited higher education institutions in the Bukhara region.
