Another partnership meeting took place at the Uzbekistan-Japan Innovation Center of Youth under Tashkent State Technical University named after Islam Karimov

On February 16, 2026, a delegation led by the Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation of Bukhara State University visited the Uzbekistan-Japan Innovation Center of Youth (the Center) under Tashkent State Technical University named after Islam Karimov.

The delegation included faculty deans, heads of departments, professors, researchers, and doctoral candidates of the university. The visit was organized to continue the next stages of cooperation under the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Center and Bukhara State University on January 6 of this year.

During the meeting, the parties discussed measures and mechanisms for launching joint scientific and practical activities, organizing training courses on the effective use of modern laboratory equipment and conducting various analyses, as well as implementing new international and national projects and joint grant competitions.

In addition, the delegation members familiarized themselves with the Center’s research laboratories, their modern equipment and capabilities, and ongoing scientific research projects. The parties reached agreements on initiating promising future collaborative activities.
