Delegation from Teikyo University Visits the Uzbekistan-Japan Innovation Center of Youth

       On August 12, 2026, a delegation from Teikyo University (Japan), led by Professor Kazuya Yamauchi, visited the Uzbekistan-Japan Innovation Center of Youth at Tashkent State Technical University named after Islam Karimov. The delegation included Teikyo University representatives Akira Fujisawa and Associate Professor Daisuke Saegusa.

The main purpose of the visit was to hold discussions on the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Center and Teikyo University in October this year, as well as on the joint implementation of international cooperation projects in the field of archaeology.

During the visit, the delegation members were provided with detailed information about the Center’s main areas of activity, ongoing research activities, innovative projects, and opportunities available to young researchers. The Center’s laboratory and research infrastructure were also presented, followed by an exchange of views on its research capacity and prospects for further development.

Particular attention during the meeting was given to further developing innovative cooperation between Teikyo University and the Center in the field of archaeology. In particular, the participants put forward proposals concerning the implementation of joint research projects, facilitating the exchange of experience among faculty members and young researchers, promoting academic mobility, and supporting promising innovation initiatives.

At the conclusion of the visit, the parties emphasized the importance of further strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation, implementing joint projects in the scientific and innovation fields, and creating new opportunities for young researchers. The parties also agreed to ensure that the event scheduled for October this year is organized at a high professional standard.
