On October 9-11, 2025, the Uzbekistan-Japan Youth Innovation Center participated in the international innovation week “InnoWeek-2025 - Ideas without borders” at the Central Asian Expo (CAEx) international exhibition center in Tashkent, showcasing its new scientific developments. Representatives of the center actively took part in this exhibition, demonstrating their scientific and technological achievements in several key areas. Specifically, the center presented advanced developments, innovative technologies and equipment, as well as new generation scientific works in the fields of “Energy”, “Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science”, “Mining and Deep Processing of Mineral Raw Materials” and “Chemistry and Petrochemistry”.
At this prestigious event, nearly 400 higher educational institutions, research institutes, innovation centers, IT parks, foreign delegations, authors of foreign and local startup projects, investment funds, industrial enterprises, and non-governmental organizations from Uzbekistan and foreign countries presented their developments.

Among the presented projects, areas of particular interest include energy-saving solutions, development of new types of technological materials, modern approaches to mineral processing, and the introduction of innovative production technologies in the chemical industry.
Within the framework of the exhibition, representatives of the Center are holding meetings with foreign partners, conducting experience exchange sessions, and negotiating future joint scientific projects. This participation is a practical manifestation of the Uzbekistan-Japan Youth Innovation Center’s efforts to develop international cooperation, support innovation, and enhance the scientific potential of young scientists.

Additionally, numerous productive engagements took place, including direct dialogues with local manufacturers, foreign specialists and investors, B2B meetings, technology commercialization discussions, pilot projects, cooperation agreements, opportunities to apply for joint research or grants for universities and scientific institutions, case studies and practical workshops by industry leaders to master current solutions.
During this prestigious exhibition, specialists from the Uzbekistan-Japan Youth Innovation Center held negotiations on establishing cooperation with foreign scientific institutions, industrial enterprises, and technology centers, as well as on the implementation of joint projects.
