On June 3, 2026, a delegation from the City University of Hong Kong, one of the world’s most prestigious higher education institutions, visited the Uzbek-Japan Innovation Center of Youth (UJICY) under the Tashkent State Technical University named after Islam Karimov. This university ranks 63rd in the international Top-1000 universities ranking and is globally recognized for its achievements in science, innovation, and technological research.

The primary purpose of the visit was to become closely acquainted with the Center’s activities and to discuss avenues for scientific research and promising international cooperation. During the meeting, the delegation members were introduced to the Center and provided with detailed information about its modern scientific laboratories, innovative projects, programs aimed at supporting young scientists and researchers, and its experience in international collaboration.

It is worth noting that the City University of Hong Kong is one of the leading research centers in the fields of engineering, artificial intelligence, data analysis, energy, environmental protection, and sustainable development. Therefore, this visit is of great importance for the Center in expanding the geography of its international scientific cooperation, studying advanced practices, and implementing new joint projects.
