Meeting dedicated to science at the Uzbek-Japan innovation center of youth

On January 9, 2026, the Uzbek-Japan innovation center of youth was visited by a member of the American physical society, Deputy director of the institute of nanotechnology at the University of Texas at Dallas, Texas, USA, Co-head of the “Hybrid nanophotonics and optoelectronics” laboratory at the Russian national research University, Doctor of physical and mathematical sciences Anvar Abdulahadovich Zakhidov, author of practical works in the field of studying the properties and practical applications of nanomaterials and holder of the title “Honored scientist of Uzbekistan”.

During the meeting, he familiarized himself with the scientific research on quantum optics and optical materials conducted in the “Energy” laboratory operating at the Center and shared his research on photoinduced charge transfer from polymers to C60 fullerene, as well as international projects.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to implement various international projects in cooperation with the Center, as well as to conduct webinars, training sessions and similar events.
