Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Republican Specialized Center of Surgery named after Academician V. Vakhidov and the UJICY.

On August 6, 2025, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Republican Specialized Center of Surgery named after Academician V. Vakhidov and the Uzbek-Japan Innovation Center of Youth.

The purpose of the signed document is to develop cooperation with the Uzbek-Japan Innovation Center of Youth, as well as with universities and research institutes in Japan in the field of medicine. The main areas of cooperation include conducting joint scientific research, publishing scientific works, exchanging experience in medical science and practice, and implementing programs for the exchange of young specialists.

This memorandum has become an important step in strengthening international scientific and educational cooperation aimed at introducing advanced technologies into healthcare and training highly qualified medical personnel.
