CALL FOR SHORT-TERM SCHOLARSHIP

for young researchers

The Call is open between 1st July, 2025 to 21st July, 2025

 

UJICY is pleased to announce the Call for young researchers (up to 35 years)  short-term scholarship (1 month) in range of SATREPS-2024 project supported by JICA.

Young scientists enable spend 1 month at Kyushu University.

The purpose of these visit is to enhance the research capacity of promising scientists, especially those at the beginning of their research career, helping them to foster links for further collaboration.

The call is open in the following priority research areas of SATREPS Projects:

1. Hydrogen Generation and CO₂ Storage at abandoned oil well
2. Steam Electrolytic Hydrogen Production using Proton Conducting Oxides
3. Development of Efficient and Durable Perovskite Solar Cell under Uzbekistan Environment
4. Photocatalytic H₂ production utilizing copper slug

 

Key stages of the competition:

1. Announcement – 1 July 2025
2. Closing date for applications – 14 July 2025
3. UJICY Expert Committee evaluation of applications – 21 July 2025
4. Oral Presentation of the selected Candidates – 21 July 2025
5. Interview with Professors of Kyushu University – 4-8 August, 2025
6. Announcement of winners – 4-8 August, 2025
