The event was opened by Sunnatulla Aliev, Deputy Director for the Commercialization of Scientific Developments at the Uzbekistan-Japan Innovation Center of Youth and Mishima Kenji, Deputy Head of the JICA Representative Office in Uzbekistan.
The conference addressed current issues related to energy efficiency, environmental sustainability, land resource management, and engineering innovations. Leading scientists from Japan - Hajime Miki, Hideki Shimada, Toshinori Matsushima, Yuichi Sugai, and Nobutoshi Nawa presented their scientific developments.
Representatives of the local scientific community - Ismailova Oksana, Turakhozhaev Nodir, Matkarimov Sokhibjon and Daminova Shahlo - also participated with research in their respective fields. Visiting foreign experts - Philippe M. Heynderickx, Aiperi Asanbek Kyzy, Roman Kalmatov, Alireza Ranjbari, Soumya Ranjan Mishra, Gde Pandhe Wisnu Suyantara and Shan Peng - shared their views on global scientific processes.
The conference served as an important platform for strengthening Uzbekistan’s position in international scientific cooperation, expanding the active participation of young researchers in scientific processes, and promoting innovative solutions.
