On January 8 of this year, Mr. Nisio Masaya, the representative of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in the Republic of Tajikistan, visited the Uzbek-Japan innovation center of youth and provided an overview of the work being carried out by the JICA representative office in the neighboring country.

He also briefly spoke about the “JICA Chair” program established in collaboration with the Tajik national university and presented a short-term professional development course program for a group of representatives from several Tajik higher education institutions to be held in Japan in February of this year. Additionally, he raised the possibility of organizing a visit for members of the Tajik delegation to the Uzbek-Japan innovation center of youth during their working trip.

The Center expressed its willingness to support the planned event and jointly implement necessary measures to further expand cooperation with higher educational institutions of the neighboring country.
