On March 11 of this year, a delegation from one of Japan’s prestigious higher educational institutions, Teikyo University, visited the Uzbek-Japan Innovation Center of Youth at the Tashkent State Technical University named after Islam Karimov. The delegation was led by Professor Kazuya Yamauchi.

During the visit, the guests were given a detailed overview of the center's innovation and research activities. In particular, they toured the laboratories, modern scientific infrastructure, and the conditions and opportunities created for young researchers.

The meeting included discussions on developing mutual cooperation in higher education and scientific research. Specifically, there was an exchange of views on the prospects for implementing joint scientific projects, expanding academic exchange programs, and sharing experience in the field of innovative research.

Following the dialogue, the parties reached a mutual agreement to further strengthen bilateral cooperation and to jointly implement promising scientific and innovative projects. This visit will be an important step toward developing scientific and educational cooperation between Uzbekistan and Japan, fostering the innovative potential of young people, and expanding international scientific ties.
