A delegation led by Odil Abdurahmonov- Director of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Anne-Marie Descott-Secretary General of the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs of the French Republic, and Shohrux Daliyev- First Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation, visited the facilities where the university is located.
Oksana Bakhtiyarovna Ismailova, Head of the Power Engineering Laboratory, and Gofurov Shukur Pazlitdinovich, Junior Researcher, introduced the UJICY laboratory and facilities.
On September 1, the Uzbekistan-France University will be established within the premises of
Tashkent State Technical University named after Islam Karimov, where UJICY is also located. This higher education institution will first establish a Faculty of Humanities and begin master's degree programs. In the future, it plans to establish a Faculty of Engineering specializing in bioinformatics and renewable energy sources, as well as a Faculty of Transportation specializing in intelligent transportation logistics and systems. Collaboration with UJICY is also anticipated in the future.
