We had a “Strengthening the Institutional Management and Sustainable Development Capacities of the UJICY (Phase 2)"　with JICA

From July 13 to July 18, 2025, within the framework of the project "Strengthening the Institutional Management and Sustainable Development Capacities of the Uzbekistan-Japan Innovation Center of Youth (Phase 2)", a delegation of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) visited Uzbekistan.

The delegation included representatives: Mr. Ueda Daisuke, Deputy Director General of the Human Development Department and Ms. Iijima Mihoko, an employee of the Human Development Department. From July 14 to July 17, 2025, the JICA delegation met with the staff of UJICY, headed by the Director of the center.

During the meetings, strategic plans for the development of the center were discussed, the structure of the institution and issues of interest to the Japanese and Uzbek sides were considered in detail. The parties exchanged useful information, which is expected to contribute to mutually beneficial cooperation and further development of the center, both at the Republican and international levels.

 Issues related to expanding the center’s capabilities, additional training of specialists, and advanced training of young scientists were discussed.
