Guests from the Freiberg Mining Academy of Germany visited the center.

At  the suggestion of the Director of Uzbekistan-Japan Youth Innovation Center at Tashkent State Technical University named after Islom Karimov, On June 24, 2024, Germany's Freiberg Mining Academy Cast Iron and a group of researchers led by Professor Olena Volkova, director of the Institute of Steel Technologies, visited the Center on a business trip.

Within the framework of the visit, the tasks in the Memorandum of Understanding signed with the Center were discussed, and agreements were reached on conducting scientific research in cooperation, organizing short and long-term training of local specialists in Germany, internship, master's and doctoral studies.

In addition, a seminar was organized for professors and teachers working in the field of metallurgy and doctoral researchers, and a presentation was held about the German technologies achieved today as a result of scientific research.

Also, in the afternoon, they got acquainted with the scientific research conducted at the Center and the modern equipment in the laboratories. The guests will be in our country from June 24 to July 2 of this year and will visit a number of metallurgical enterprises according to the plan. In addition, it is worth saying that the Mining Academy of Fraiberg occupies the TOP 380 place in the QS international ranking, and the 22nd place in the world in the field of science..
