From March 26th to 28th, Dr. Nargiza, a JICA expert, and Abdulaziz, the head of the marketing department at UJICY, visited Japan as a delegation from UJICY.
The UJICY delegation was invited to an event at Nagaoka University of Technology. UJICY and Nagaoka University of Technology have a cooperative relationship. UJICY and Tashkent State Technical University from Uzbekistan participated, and there were also participants from other Central Asian countries, making it a valuable opportunity to share information and exchange opinions with experts from Japan and Central Asian countries.
The main activities of this visit to Japan are as follows.
March 26 - Meeting with JICA executives
There was a presentation and exchange of opinions on the human resources development project in the engineering field funded by JICA, as well as on the activities of UJICY and the efforts of the marketing department.
March 27 - Event at Nagaoka University of Technology
UJICY was invited to participate in the kick-off meeting for the “Multicultural Campus Project Aimed at Social Impact”. Agreements were reached in the areas of sending young researchers to doctoral programs, internships and capacity building.
March 28 - Meeting between the Japan Career Center and Daito Construction
A meeting was held with five students from the Tashkent State Institute of Technology who had found employment with Daito Construction.
Through this visit, we were able to deepen the relationship between UJICY and Japan and Nagaoka University of Technology, and also open the door to new opportunities for Uzbek students and young researchers at UJICY.
