We invited Professor Yoshikuni Edagawa, who is researching human-centered management systems, neuroscience, marketing and consumer behavior, and organizational development, to give a seminar on February 9th entitled “Sleep and Work Productivity: The Importance of Sleep and Tips for Improving Work Efficiency”.
Professor Edagawa is a professor at the Graduate School of Technology Management (MOT) at Ritsumeikan University, and in addition to his research and teaching, he is also active as an author, speaker and advisor.

In this lecture, he explained the basics of sleep, the effects of sleep deprivation, and the relationship between sleep and work productivity, while also presenting case studies from Japan. During the Q&A session, UJICY staff discussed the relationship between sleep and performance in their daily lives.
In order to improve performance and health at UJICY, we will work to improve sleep quality.
