A Memorandum of understanding between Research Institute of Environment and Nature Conservation Technologies and Uzbek-Japan Innovation Center has been signed

   On October 4, 2023, a memorandum of understanding for comprihensive research cooperation and academic exchange was signed between Uzbek-Japan Innovation Center of Youth (UJICY) and Research Institute of Environment and Nature Conservation (RIENCT).

          Director of UJICY, Mr. Niyazbekov Saidmurad and Director of RIENCT, Mr. Bakhtiyor Pulatov agreed to conduct joint researches in various fields actively and to lead the environmental science in Uzbekistan.

      During the discussion, both parties confirmed the direction of corporation, such as applying new technologies to solve the current issues, establishing a joint ecology laboratory and creating innovative research projects together with foreign institutions.

       UJICY has already established close relations with Keio University for air pollution monitoring study through  Dr.Ziklilla Alimov, who graduated from the University under the JICA project, and this new collaboration with RIENCT will accelerate the further research works.
