On September 5, 2023, Uzbek-Japan Innovation Center of Youth (UJICY) received a delegation of Kyushu University of Japan and had intensive discussion on the joint research on hydrogen energy generation. This joint research project will be executed under SATREPS, a Japanese research fund for solving global problems. Three professors from Kyushu University proposed the new method to utilize industrial wastes and abandoned oil wells for generation of hydrogen. This UJICY’s project will involve national young researchers from National University of Uzbekistan, Navoi State University of Mining and Technologies and National Research Institute for Renewable Energy Sources. This project will continue for 5 years.
