COOPERATION WITH JICA OF JAPAN WILL BE EXPANDED

Farkhod Jumayev, Director General of the National Office of Innovation and Technology Transfer under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, Sardor Donayev, vice-rector for scientific affairs and innovations of the Tashkent State Technical University name under Islam Karimov and Director of the Uzbekistan Japan Innovation Center of Youth, Saidmurad Niyazbekov are currently on a business trip to Japan as part of the "Innovative approach towards to management of Research Institutes" project.

The members of the delegation visited the main office of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and they get to know its activities.

Also, a meeting was held with UEDA Daisuke, Deputy Director General of JICA Agency. During the meeting, they provided information about the results of cooperation and the achieved achievements in the first phase of the project implemented by the Uzbekistan Japan Innovation Center of Youth and JICA, and emphasized the continuation of the second phase of the project.

At the same time, activities for expanding and strengthening cooperation with the JICA agency, such as attracting teaching volunteers to the educational process, including the organization of short-term educational programs and courses were discussed.

The meeting was in a high level, which gives a special importance to the implementation of promising joint projects in the field of education.
