SATREPS – UJICY and Kyushu University conducted site survey in Karshi and Andijan

On September 10-12, 2023, Professor Sugai of Kyushu University, Dr.Zukhra of UJICY and Japanese organizations conducted site survey of several oil fields where pilot tests of hydrogen generation technology are to be conducted. The survey was conducted with having cooperation from Uzbekeftgaz and  Sanoat Energetika Guruhi (SANEG) and the team visited serval oil field in Qarshi and Andijon.  The team had also close meeting with the companies and explained the plan of pilot test and the methodology and benefit of applied technologies. 
The pilot test is scheduled in 2026 after completion lab-base joint research between Japan and Uzbekistan under SATREPS scheme.
