On January 20th, the heads of JICA Mongolia, JICA Kyrgyzstan and JICA Tajikistan, as well as JICA Tokyo and JICA Uzbekistan, visited UJICY.
After a briefing on UJICY's activities, they also took a tour of the center.
The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) is developing projects in around 150 countries and regions around the world, with a focus on three types of bilateral assistance: technical cooperation, concessional loans, and grant aid, in order to contribute to solving the issues faced by countries.
UJICY was established in 2016 and has been receiving technical cooperation from JICA since 2019.
UJICY will continue to explore the possibilities for collaboration not only within Uzbekistan, but also in Central Asia and East Asia.
