The new stage of mutual cooperation between "Uzmetkombinat" JSC and UJICY

On the initiative of the Uzbekistan-Japan Youth Innovation Center (UJICY) and the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, an online meeting with representatives of local mining and metallurgical enterprises was organized on November 14, 2023.

According to the results of the online meeting: "Uzmetkombinat" JSC, "Uzbekkomir" JSC, "Navoiy KMK" JSC, "Almaliq KMK" JSC, "Navoiyuran" JSC to get to know the center's opportunities and conditions closely. it was agreed to hold a direct meeting.

On November 22, 2023, specialists of "Uzmetkombinat" JSC visited UJICY and discussed directions of cooperation on solving current technical problems. According to the agenda of the meeting, two issues were discussed. In particular, to organize short-term training courses in the center of the specialist staff of "Uzmetkombinat" JSC, and in the future to direct them to additional training courses in the country of Japan. Plans on the following topics were discussed within the framework of scientific cooperation between the combine and the center:

- processing of zinc residues,

- modernization and automation of production processes.

Based on the results of the meeting, it was agreed to develop measures to further strengthen mutual cooperation and increase its efficiency.
