UJICY conducted International Seminar for industrial standardization.

November 8, 2023,  Having the support of Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan (METI), Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan (MIIT) and Association for Overseas Technical Cooperation and Sustainable Partnerships (AOTS), UJICY conducted an international Seminar titled “Standardization and Conformity Assessment – Its Practical Case Study -” by inviting  Mr.Kazuma KOYAMA, Senior Manager of DAIKIN Corporation, as a lecturer.

The seminar was focus on how industrial standardization will benefit for the company and showed the actual successful case of DAIKIN in Brazil, where DAIKIN gained large share of energy-efficient air conditioner.

“Uzbekistan 2030”, a new national strategy announced by the President in last September is also emphasizing the importance of standardization and set the target to increase the number of companies which comply with standard up to 5,000. 

UJICY will continue to promote high-quality and energy efficiency by supporting the applicatipon of international standards in Uzbekistan.
