This training course, designed jointly by the Uzbek Agency for Technical Regulation and UJICY, is an energy-saving programme for students, and aims to train teachers who will lead the programme in each province of Uzbekistan. This time, 28 teachers gathered at the A. Avloniy nomidagi pedagogik mahorat milliy instituti.
The training course is scheduled to run for three days, and on the final day, the teachers will give a demonstration in front of the students.
The opening speeches were given by A.R. Jumanazarov, Director General of the Uzbek Agency for Technical Regulation under the Cabinet of Ministers, Sh. A. Karimov, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, and S.S. Niyazbekov, Director of UJICY. After that, JICA expert Yanagida, who is leading the hydrogen project, gave a presentation on the outline of the energy conservation programme, its philosophy and how to use the textbooks. Tomorrow, we will focus on the practical side of how to implement this energy conservation programme in the classroom.
UJICY believes that by training KI Instructors who can develop energy conservation programmes, we can encourage children to take action to save energy and foster an innovative mindset.
